Studio Mast is responsible for designing the visual identity for the exhibition What's the Story? at the KMSKA.
From August 2024 to January 2025, visitors can immerse themselves in parts 1 and 2 of this contemporary exhibition.
KMSKA’s main collection includes numerous Flemish masters from the 17th to 19th centuries. However, for this exhibition, What's the Story?, they wanted to place a stronger emphasis on contemporary art. We translated this vision into a minimalist, contemporary visual identity. The sleek, elegant typeface with a subtle, playful touch immediately sets the right tone at the entrance of the exhibition.
Studio Mast was responsible for the graphic design of the exhibition. We designed and provided the title wall, introductory texts, visitor guide, and artist labels in a cohesive style, fully immersing visitors in the three themes: Space, Time, and Power. In these spaces, the curators draw connections between contemporary artists and their kindred spirits from the past.
